About the Company

Saba MediaS is a cultural and artistic collective of Iranian artists based in Canada, dedicated to theater, video productions, and live performances. With a vision to bridge Iranian language and culture with the lived experience of migration, Saba MediaS creates innovative, socially engaged, and imaginative works. The group provides a platform for contemporary storytelling and the voices of new generations, establishing itself as an active contributor to the cultural scene of Iranian communities in cities like Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver.

Saba Monologue Festival

The SABA Monologue Festival is an independent international event dedicated to the art of monologue, creating a space for individual expression, personal storytelling, and contemporary performance in acting. The festival aims to foster dialogue among artists, amplify emerging voices, and strengthen the professional presence of performers.

This edition welcomes participants from Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, as well as Germany, presenting their works alongside one another. In addition to performances, the festival features specialized workshops focused on acting, performance, and the creative process, offering opportunities for learning, exchange, and artistic connection.

The SABA Monologue Festival is a platform for diverse voices—where every narrative becomes a new world.

Mission Statement

Saba MediaS exists to create spaces for dialogue, courage, play, and discovery. We see the stage as a living journal, an open space for shared experiences, shared wounds, and shared hopes.
In this artistic home, the boundary between performer and audience fades, inviting everyone to rehearse a new kind of world together, one in which art is not just to be watched, but to be lived.
